LittleBigPlanet 2 bereits auf dem Weg?!
Anlässlich der Spike 2008 Video Game Awards gelang es unseren Kollegen von thatvideogameblog.com Alex Evans – dem Co Gründer von Media Molecule – vor das Mikrofon zu bekommen.
Als gefragt wurde, ob bereits an einem Nachfolger zu LittleBigPlanet gearbeitet wird, bekam man erstaunliches zu hören.
So sagte Evans:
Yes. Kinda. The whole team is behind LBP, whether it’s a sequel or not, I don’t know. I think sequels are kind of…it’s not a MMO, but the way I think of it about is much more like that: we have a community and we want to support them. I don’t want those guys to buy a sequel and not be able to play the levels they made. What we’re going to do is find different ways; at least a sequel; bigger than a sequel. I want to shock you guys with news that you don’t know what’s coming and you’ll be like, “Oh my God, can they do that with LBP?"
Also, ein Nachfolger ist in Planung, dieser soll jedoch weit mehr als ein einfaches LittleBigPlanet 2 werden. Man möchte neue Wege beschreiten und Dinge mit LittleBigPlanet 2 bewerkstelligen, die man vorher für unmöglich hielt.
Auch für das kommende Metal Gear Weihnachts-Pack soll es einige Überraschungen geben. So soll es sich dabei nicht nur um neue Kostüme handeln, es soll
really awesomely different
werden. Lassen wir uns überraschen.
