Heute begann endlich auch in Österreich (und auch in großen Teilen der EU) der offizielle Rollout des OTA-Updates von Jelly Bean (JB) für das Transformer Prime (TF 201) von Asus.

Nach einer längeren Wartezeit seitens Asus darf man sich nun also auch als Besitzer eines Transformer Prime über JB freuen.

In einschlägigen Foren-Berichten (wie z.B. bei den XDA Developers) wird das Update von Ice Cream Sandwich auf Jelly Bean sehr gut angenommen.

Nachfolgender Artikel soll die Performance der neueste Android-Version auf dem Transformer Prime von Asus unter die Lupe nehmen.

 

Testszenario:

Jeder Benchmark wurde 2x hintereinander durchgeführt, die einzelnen Werte werden jeweils unten angegeben. Nach jeder Benchmark-App wurde das Asus Transformer Prime neu gestartet, jeweils mit WLAN EIN, mit „normalem Modus – 1,4 GHZ“ (also „Höchstleistung“), sowie ohne SD-Karte. Zudem war das Prime im Test gerootet.
